How to Use Mobile App Invoicing

You can now create invoices on the go with the Sunrise App. This feature can come in handy if you are on location with only your mobile device. You can create invoices on the fly and send them right to your client. Here’s how it works.

Tap Invoices on the bottom menu of the Sunrise App. This takes you to the invoicing screen where you can see all of your previous invoices including unpaid, drafts, and paid.

To create a new invoice, tap + on the lower right hand of the screen, then tap Create Invoice.

On the next screen, you will see a prompt to choose the recipient of the invoice. Tap the right arrow to choose from saved contacts already in your Sunrise account, or you can create a new contact by typing in a person or company’s name and then tapping on Create New Contact.

This will open up more prompts to add a Phone Number and an Email Address. Click Save to store the new contact.

Back on the screen where you are creating your invoice, once you’ve selected your contact to send to either by email or by text message, you can then choose the product or service of the invoice by tapping What is this for? This brings you to your list of saved products/services already in your Sunrise Account.

Tap the product or service to add to the invoice. You can add as many items as you wish by tapping Add+.

Next, you can choose how you want to receive your payment by tapping Accept Payment. This will bring up the various payment options you have already set up in your Sunrise account. If you haven’t set up a payment method yet, you can enter in your account details here as well.

Finally click Send to send the invoice. The invoice will be automatically logged in your Sunrise account as sent.

For unpaid invoices, you can tap into each one and send payment reminders to your contact by email or text, and you can even attach a late fee.
