How long does Sunrise Pay take to get the payment to me?

In most cases, credit card payments made by your client before 4 pm EST will arrive in your bank account within 2 business days of the client issuing the payment. Bank transfer payments typically arrive in 3-5 business days.

If you are new to Sunrise Pay, the timeline for credit card payments may be closer to 2-5 business days for your first few payments. This is because we are building a profile to help protect you from fraud and other types of risk. Once we have this profile in place your payments tend to process faster -- and safer.

The bank you use can also affect how long it takes for you to receive your funds. National banks will tend to be the fastest, whereas smaller, more regional banks and credit unions can take longer to process the payment on their end, which may result in an additional day or more of overall processing time.

Same-day Deposits for Chase Business Bank Accounts

For Chase business bank accounts, we also offer same-day deposits at no additional cost. If you have a Chase Bank Account, you will receive your cash the same day for any approved transaction Sunday – Friday. Plus, Saturday transactions will be deposited Sunday morning.

Same-Day Deposits are available to merchants with a 5:00 pm PT cut-off time for payments processed through Sunrise Pay. Merchants must deposit into a single Chase bank account to be eligible. Payments approved by 5:00 pm PT are eligible. Funds are deposited into Chase bank accounts six days a week, excluding Saturdays.

For a non-Chase bank Account, deposits will occur on the next business day, depending on the receiving bank.

Funds deposited to non-Chase bank accounts may settle as soon as the next business day, depending on the receiving bank. All transactions are subject to Sunrise Pay terms of service and exclusions therein, including risk assessment and fraud monitoring, which may result in delays. Available in the U.S. only.

Weekly Deposits over $10,000

If you expect to receive payments greater than $10,000 in a given week, check out our guide What is a reserve limit, and can mine be increased? -- or simply reach out to us over Live Chat between 8 am and 6 pm MST to get help.
